Baltimore Homes
I have a full time 9 to 5 job as an engineer but overtime is not an option now. I’m single and live in Baltimore. I have nothing I can sell. I appreciate all your ideas but would prefer that you stay away from mentioning online “work from home” opportunities as they are mostly scams and only fill the pockets of those offering them.
Thank you guys
Open Question: Friend has large medical bills on credit from 3 yrs ago turned over to NCO.Need Help!!?
My friend was hospitalized back in 2006 with a rare disease that almost cost him his life. His lives in Baltimore, Md.He has numerous medical bills from Sinai hospital, American Radiology etc because he didn’t have ins. Some are large bills are some are small. Some have been turned over to NCO Financial. He is and was a single dad to his son who was 5 yrs old at the time. At the time of hospitalization he requested a billing rep visit his room to discuss assistance but they never came and now 3 yrs later he is stuck w/this bill . He wants to purchase a home in about 2 yrs and is concerned that this will affect that. Is there a way for him to submit these bill to Social Services to pay for him? I’m scared for him to contact NCO to set up pymnts because I have heard stories about them trying to collect everything once you open your case back up with them. Can he just contact Sinai and Advance Radiology etc directly to pay? If so do you have any phone #’s or addresses for them? Please help.. Only respond with intelligent answers,Thanks

THE FOREVER HOME
May 24,2001,according to the forecaster, was a warm, sunny day. With just the faintest wind
and no sign of a cloud in the sky. Many probably would have agreed that it was a perfect day. I would
have been one of the many because it was on this day that I, along with my two little sisters were
adopted.
By no means was our adoption simple; quite the contrary actually. For example, one of our previous foster Homes, the Denums, decided my little sister,Rica, had become too defiant and they kicked her out. She went to live with another foster family, the Nelson’s. Meanwhile, my other little sister, Dora, and I were still stuck with the Denums . They still wanted to adopt both of us, but after discovering we were Rica’s biological sisters, so did the Nelson’s. %26ldquo;We did not want you girls to be separated,%26rdquo;my mom recalls. %26ldquo;We felt like it was enough to be separated from your biological family then to be separated from each other too.%26rdquo; Finally, after several court hearings and investigations,Dora and I were taken out of the Denums household and placed with the Nelson’s. There we were reunited with Rica.
After nine months of living with the Nelson’s, CASA decided we were ready to be adopted. So on May 21,2008 we all headed to the court house. There, a judge asked all three of us, individually,
questions on the stand. A my older brother, Joseph, fondly recalls, %26ldquo;When the judged asked if there was anybody in the household you did not like, all three of you said, Joseph!%26rdquo; Aside from that, only only five words the judged told each of us stick out I my head every time I recall that day, %26ldquo;This is your forever home.%26rdquo; After the court hearing was over we all went upstairs to sign paperwork changing all three of our last last names to Nelson. Then it was finally over,we were officially adopted! We went to celebrate at Western Sizzlin.
Even though I was in my own little world, the world around me was still rapidly spinning. For example, the Baltimore Ravens and the New York Giants played in the Superbowl that year. The song everyone was jamming to was the Cha Cha Slide buy Mr. C The Slide Man. Al Gore, as President of the U.S. Senate, tallies the electoral votes and certifies George W. Bush as the winner of U.S. presidential election, 2000. Also, FBI agent Robert Hanssen is arrested and charged with spying for Russia for 15 years. Sadly it was also the year the September 11th attacks destroyed the World Trade Center in New York City, part of the Pentagon in Arlington, Virginia, and downed a passenger airliner in Pennsylvania. In total, almost 3,000 people were killed.
The year 2001 changed many lives forever. For many, it was the end to an old chapter and the beginning of a new one. I like to call mine, the forever home.
