AUSTIN, Texas-Forestar Real Estate Group Inc. today reported third quarter 2008 net income of $0.9 million, or $0.02 per diluted share, compared with third quarter 2007 net income of $9.6 million, or $0.27 per diluted share, and second quarter 2008 net income of $9.6 million, or $0.27 per diluted share outstanding.
