I am truly stuck between Long %26 Foster and Resales %26 Investment Realty. I really like both companies.
Long %26 Foster- In business 40 years, 115 reps, 50/50 commission split plus 6% Marketing fee per transaction. They have training classes monthly. I am required to do floor time. They offer things like direct deposit, and intranet. They have divisions that offer health insurance, discounts on your cellphone, etc.
Resales and Investment Realty- In business 4 years, one location, 14 agents, no floor time required, 70/30 split with no other fees, free set up business cards, free color copies, fee leads sent to you monthly, they handle niche areas such as working with investors and seniors. Training is one on one with one of the two owners
There are things I like about both. While Long and Foster is well known and would require less marketing, they take so much more of your money. Color copies are 25 cents each.
Resales give you a lot of things free and you keep more money
The smaller company doesn’t offer health insurance or anything.
The smaller company makes all business cards and marketing material on their computer in the office, so I am wondering if that would look unprofessional
Resolved Question: Exit Realty or Long %26 Foster?
One company has been in business for 40 years and the other for 6 years. One company gives 70/30 commission split while the other gives 50/50. Both offer decent training programs. One of the companies provide sponsoring bonuses and focus a lot of their business on that. I don’t know who to go with. Any suggestions
