Cisco Hardware power to 4G WiMAX networks
The term "4G" and "WiMax" were thrown a lot over the last years. Fourth generation broadband access often been regarded as the offspring of the futuristic technology of the 3G network today. The outlook was optimistic for the 4G-download speeds almost identical to the cable connections but rooted effortlessly available on the movement through countries. It is disappointing, a number of legal, economic, and political obstacles have slowed to a news release nationwide WiMax. Currently, it has been deployed in Baltimore and Portland, with limited access.
It is a relief Clearwire, the engine principal WiMAX 4G technology, announced a partnership with Cisco Systems. Cisco is known to be a company that puts it's money where his mouth is and provides products in a timely and efficient. The addition of Cisco as its partner to develop WiMAX equipment is expected to accelerate the initiative whole. Cisco will be responsible for the construction of new mobile WiMax for 4G CLEAR consumers, small offices and small businesses and medium enterprises Arenas.

As a reminder for those who have disappeared over the past two years: the 3G network technology that is boasted every five minutes on a cell phone commercial for Sprint, Verizon, AT & T and other carriers with the capital for a 30-second spot. The large carriers try to one up the other claims the network's most ambitious and largest capacity of data transfer. In reality, 3G networks are still a few holes in their plans at the national level and transfer data almost never actually reaches vaunted 1-2 mbps speed downstream.
3G networks have never really been an end in itself, but rather an intermediate state between production technologies anchored off Band and later as WiMAX. Sure – you can check your email, get directions and even watch a video or two on your iPhone or via broadband cellular card. Using the 3G network has always been a good compromise, it is never quite as fast or as reliable as a terrestrial connection. There is always a sigh of relief when you connect to your home wireless network or desktop.
We have been in limbo; to become fully productive citizens of the Internet, we need our 4G technologies. Nationwide WiMax will open the doors to functions such as overdue full capabilities of cell phone video conference. Cisco is the ideal partner for the manufacture of materials necessary network for this quantum leap in connectivity of man. They already have the record of success in the development of routers and switches for our generation Pre-networking needs. Used Cisco equipment has proliferated on the market for a reason, it is well built and is operating effectively.
"Worldwide, providers of mobile WiMAX continue to make great progress bringing 4G mobile Internet services on the market, and we are pleased that Clearwire has chosen Cisco to help the United Nations attaches to its Internet customers across the United States, while offering high performance, "said Brett Galloway, vice president, Wireless and Security Technology Group at Cisco.
